Codenames is a card/board game for 4–8 players designed by Vlaada Chvátil in 2015. Two teams compete with each team having a Spymaster who gives one word clues. These clues can point to words on the board and the other players have to attempt to guess the words while avoiding the words of the other team.

In 2016 Codenames won the Spiel des Jahres award for the best board game of the year. There has been a number of expansions for Codenames and you can shop our range at The Board Gamer.
