Description

Zombie Kidz Evolution is the first “legacy”-style game for kids, with basic gameplay similar to the 2013 title Zombie Kidz — but things willquickly evolve!

In the game, the young players are at school when zombies start to attack, infiltrating the entryways, then barring the way to classrooms. Players movethrough rooms and entryways to eliminate zombies and keep the zombie reservefull. If a zombie must enter the school but none are available, then the schoolhas been overrun and the players lose. To win the game, players need to lockeach of the four entryways as apparently the custodian has abandoned the postand given up the school for lost.

As players get better, they can complete missions, track their developmentthrough a trophy-sticker system reminiscent of video games, and open envelopesthat contain new material for the game, upping the challenge they face whilealso providing them with new powers and new heroes as well.

  • Gather your friends together for this co-operative game

Amazing game!

Perfect game if you and/or your child is neurodivergent (and even if y’all aren’t)
Really fun and rewarding no matter if you win or lose and the envelopes add enough changes to keep the game fresh.
My biggest grievance is that there’s no warning that the bicycle kid (we named him Kyle) doesn’t get his hero power until envelope 10, after all other characters have theirs plus another ability, which is unfair for the person designated to play as Kyle - however I do believe that his power would have made the game too easy if he had gotten it sooner. I just think there should be some kind of warning.
I’ve recommended this game to all my friends and family, even those without kids, since my 8 year old and I loved it so much despite us being used to more complex legacy board games.
We got approximately 40 game plays out of it before reaching the 13th envelope although it would have been more if we hadn’t made it our mission to complete most of the trophies early on. I’m not sure how much we will replay it in the future now that the envelopes are all opened and it is not a game that you’re able to re-sell due to this, however even if we never played it again it would be worth the money IMO.
I bought Zombie Teenz for his birthday next week and I’m chomping at the bit to see how it compares to Zombie Kidz!
